GLC Group has been retained by a leading self-storage developer and operator headquartered in Miami to identify a talented Acquisitions Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial real estate platform with a strong track record of successful ground-up developments and acquisitions across the Sunbelt.
Position Overview
The Acquisitions Analyst will play a key role in underwriting, financial analysis, and market research to support the identification and execution of new self-storage development and acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about real estate investment and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for development and acquisition opportunities
- Conduct market and demographic analysis to evaluate new sites and investment viability
- Assist in preparing investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Support due diligence, financing, and closing processes
- Track pipeline opportunities and maintain acquisition databases
- Collaborate with the development, construction, and operations teams to ensure accurate underwriting assumptions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, or investment analysis (self-storage experience a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of real estate valuation, pro forma analysis, and market research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
