Lease Accountant | Real Estate Investment Platform

We’re partnering with a growing real estate investment and management platform to hire a Lease Accountant to own lease accounting across a multi-property commercial portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, lease administration, and operations, with real ownership and visibility across the platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Review and abstract executed leases, amendments, renewals, and terminations

  • Set up and maintain leases in Yardi (or similar systems)

  • Ensure accurate billing, rent rolls, and compliance with lease terms

  • Support straight-line rent, deferred rent, incentives, and reimbursements

  • Assist with CAM reconciliations and tenant billing questions

  • Partner with Accounting, Property Management, Asset Management, and third-party managers

  • Support audits, due diligence, and transaction-related lease schedules


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 3–6+ years of lease accounting, lease administration, or real estate accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of commercial lease structures

  • Yardi experience strongly preferred

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have:

  • Private equity or institutional real estate experience

  • CAM reconciliation exposure

  • Transaction or portfolio-level reporting experience
