Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). We are looking for dedicated professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment. Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 20
  • Number of Staff: 5 RNs & 2 LNAs (flexible with volume)
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1
  • Type of Equipment: GE cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps
  • EMR: Expanse

Typical Hiring Profile:

Must Have:

  • 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
  • Active Compact License at submission
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills & critical drip experience
  • 2 years PCU experience

Preferred or Nice to Have:

  • Pre-post cardiac cath & pacer patient care experience
  • Prior HCA experience

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIAH

Floating Areas: Med Surg, ICU (for border patients), Emergency Department (for ED holds)

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Discussed during interview & orientation

Weekends and On Call: Every other weekend or equivalent based on staffing needs
