Join our team as a Travel Med Surg RN at a leading acute-care hospital in Poplar Bluff, MO. This contract position offers an opportunity to work night shifts, providing essential care to patients in a dynamic medical-surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float between two Med Surg units as required.
- Provide care on the 5th floor, focusing on ortho, surgical, and stroke patients.
- Work on the 6th floor, managing cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, depending on acuity.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg setting.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to accommodate floating between units.
- Scrub color: Royal Blue.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
Additional Information:
- 48-hour weekly guarantees are not available.
- Blocked scheduling requests will be considered but may not be guaranteed.
- RTO max: 1 week.
