Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit! We are seeking dedicated professionals for a contract position in Moberly, MO. This role requires a passion for providing exceptional care to patients in a psychiatric setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral health evaluation of assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist nursing peers and physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- De-escalation training (SAMA or CPI) required.
- Previous experience in a gero psych unit required.
- Recent experience in a Senior Behavioral Health setting within an acute care hospital required.
Additional Information:
- 48-hour weekly guarantees are NOT approved.
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
- Maximum RTO: 1 week.
- Scrub color: Any solid color.
- Patient ratio: 1:7.
- No call or floating required.
- EMR: MedHost.
- Any CPI certification is acceptable; training with SAMA can be provided during day one orientation.
