Join our team as a Travel RN in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at a leading acute-care hospital in La Porte, IN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM for a duration of 13 weeks. We are looking for dedicated and skilled RNs to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMCU.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- May be required to float to Med/Surg as needed.
Requirements:
- Current Indiana RN licensure.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- 1-2 years of Critical Care experience preferred.
- Cerner EMR experience is a plus but not required.
Additional Information:
- Patient ratio: 5:1 or 4:1.
- Unit capacity: 30 beds.
- Scrub color: Navy blue.
- Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted.
- Must attach required licenses and certifications with submission.
