**Position Information:**
- Facility Department/Cost Center: 317360501 - Medical Surgical Telemetry
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Cardiac and Stepdown
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend
- Call Requirements: Only if census is low
**Required Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIH
**Years of Experience:** 1 year in PCU or stepdown
**Float Requirements:** Yes
**Unit Information:**
- Number of Beds: 36
- Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 for Cardiac patients; 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown population
- Equipment: Telemetry monitoring
- EHR: Cerner
**Patient Population:** Cardiac patients with trauma and stepdown level of care, Telemetry
**Hiring Profile:**
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Cardiac patient populations, chest tubes, cardiac monitoring and cardiac drips
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCU/Stepdown patient populations, Low-level ICU skills
- Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Chest pain, VATS, Stroke/TIA, Pre&Post Open Heart Surgery, Pacemakers, Heart Blocks, Vascular, CHF
- Personality Fit: Teamwork is a must
- Required Education: Associate
