Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery (L&D) in St. Louis Park, MN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions before, during, and after delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Assist with patient education and support for families during the childbirth process.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Current MN RN license.
- BLS (AHA only).
- NRP certification.
- EFM certification (basic + intermediate, basic + advanced, or intermediate + advanced).
Additional Requirements:
- MUST be willing to float within L&D.
- Weekend and holiday work as needed.
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
- New graduates will not be accepted for this position.
