Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) in St. Louis Park, MN. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical care to mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in labor and delivery procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-delivery care and newborn care.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Active MN RN license.
- BLS (AHA only).
- NRP certification.
- EFM certification (basic + intermediate, basic + advanced, or intermediate + advanced).
Additional Requirements:
- MUST be willing to float within the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Weekend and holiday availability as needed.
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
- New graduates will not be considered for this position.
