Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
- Preferred experience in Trauma Level 1 or Level 2, but all levels of trauma center emergency experience will be considered.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Current MN RN license.
- CPR (AHA only), ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS Certification required.
- NIHSS training will be offered for certification.
Work Schedule:
- Evening/Night shifts, 12 hours.
- Scheduled for 36 hours per week.
- Weekend requirements: Every Weekend (Friday-Sunday).
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
