Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU experience.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Active RN license in Minnesota.
- BLS certification.
Additional Requirements:
- Floating to MedSurg, Tele, and ED as needed.
- Every third weekend availability required.
- No on-call requirements.
- Holiday availability as needed.
- No more than 7 days of RTO (Request Time Off) allowed.

Patient ratios typically depend on the acuity level of patients, generally 1:3-4 for days and 1:5 for nights.
