Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology in Saint Paul, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a dynamic environment focused on patient care and treatment.
Position Overview: As a Registered Nurse in Oncology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies to patients.
- Monitor patients for side effects and complications related to treatment.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Document patient care and treatment in accordance with facility policies.
- Float to various cancer centers as needed within the metro area.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of one year nursing experience in Oncology Infusion within the past three years.
- Graduate of an accredited college of nursing with an Associate degree in Nursing.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Active Minnesota RN licensure.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
Additional Requirements:
- Floating to various cancer centers in the metro area is expected.
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
