Ratios 1:6 for Floor patients, 1:3 for Stepdown patients
Required Certifications BLS is required
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Multi-trauma, TBI, Fractures, General Surgery (choles, ostomies, etc.); Bariatric Surgery –
Other typical Med-Surg as needed Experience or 'Must have' skills
Must have experience with complex wound care, drains, devices, traumatic injuries, Chest tubes, respiratory support, TBI's, complex spinal cord injuries, as well as other medical & surgical conditions. Are RNs required to titrate drips? Unknown Common titratable &/or set rate drips "Floor - Heparin, PCA's Stepdown - Insulin, Cardizem, etc. (non-pressers)???????

Minimum Requirements
- Active license in IMC/IMU/PCU/STEPDOWN, Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down
- 1 year full-time RN, IMC/IMU/PCU/STEPDOWN, Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down experience within the last 2 years
