Join a leading acute-care hospital in Bradenton, FL, as a Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As an IR Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting with various interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
- Maintain equipment and assist in quality control measures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Previous experience in interventional radiology preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
As a Travel IR Tech, you will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. This position is ideal for those looking to expand their experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
