Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 36
- Number of Staff: 113
- Patient Ratios: 4:1, with critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1
- Type of Equipment: Phillips
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: At least 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital
- Preferred: Charge nurse experience and prior travel/interim experience working in California
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Stroke and STEMI center
Best Personality Fit: Team player
Required Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS
Floating Areas: None
Dress Code: Scrubs (no specific color)
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Work every other weekend; on-call requirements may apply.
