Join a leading healthcare provider as a Float RN in Cordova, Alaska, where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care in both Med-Surge and Emergency Department (ED) settings. As a Float RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med-Surge floor, with the potential for coverage in the Emergency Department as needed. Your expertise in nursing will be critical in ensuring patient safety and comfort during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in both Med-Surge and ED settings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Requirements:

  • Active Alaska RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Med-Surge experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TNCC certification
