We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech with CVOR experience for a travel contract position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role requires certification and a minimum of two prior travel assignments. Join a leading acute-care hospital recognized for its commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.
Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 6 ORs
- Patient Ratios: All cases require 1 scrub and 1 circulator. Pump cases also require a first assist/Heart Holder which can be an RN or CST.
- Type of equipment: Stryker
- Documentation system: Cerner
- Scheduling requirements: On-call shifts will be assigned, rotated among staff.
- Floating policy: May float if needed, infrequent.
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:
- Must have extensive expertise and experience in the Scrub Role for various procedures including CABG, Valve Replacement, VAD Insertions, TAVR, VATS, Lobectomy, Pacemaker/AICD Insertions, Septal Myectomy, Ross Procedure, EVH, IABP Insertions, and Femoral Cannulation.
- First Assist experience and proficiency is preferred but not required.
Certifications Required: CST, BLS
Dress Code: Hospital will provide scrubs; hospital surgical attire policy must be followed.
