Unit Specifics:

  • Number of Beds: 33
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6
  • Unit Staffing: Unit secretary on unit from 7 AM - 11 PM, 3 CNAs for 33 patients, Charge RN each shift, Clinical Manager and Director
  • Type of Equipment: Electronic white boards, iPhones with iMobile, remote telemetry
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours and every other weekend as needed
  • Floating Policy: Travelers are first to float
  • Patient Experience Requirements: Hourly rounds on day shift; 2-hour rounds after 9 PM

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

  • Must have the right attitude to put patients first
  • Advanced skills needed: Inpatient chemotherapy given by core nursing staff with ONS chemo training
  • Certifications Required: Preferred specialty certification - Med Surg, Palliative Care, ONS

Dress Code: Pewter scrubs and white (any combination)
