Join a leading healthcare provider as a Cath Lab Tech specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures in Baltimore, MD. We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will make a significant impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor and scrub during cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Recognize life-threatening dysrhythmias and maintain a sterile field.
- Conduct adult diagnostic catheterizations, cardiac stent placements, and PCI/PTCA procedures.
- Utilize equipment such as McKesson monitoring systems and Philips X-ray.
Requirements:
- 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience is required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- RCIS or ARRT certification is required.
- Active Maryland license is required.
- Basic EKG assessment skills are necessary.
- Strong vascular procedure experience is required.
- Experience with TAVR, AAA repair, and STEMI cases is expected.
- Pacemaker and defibrillator insertion/removal experience is required.
- AICD insertion and programming experience is required.
- Peripheral angiography experience is required.
Additional Information:
- One weekend of call per month is required.
- Approximately 5-6 nights of call per month are required.
- One pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract.
- Scrubs are provided; scrub color is dark blue.
