Join a leading healthcare provider as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit. We are seeking dedicated professionals to work night shifts, providing essential care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral health evaluations of assigned patients.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist nursing peers and physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice.
- Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- De-escalation training (SAMA or CPI) required.
- Previous experience in a geriatric psychiatric unit required.
- Recent experience in a Senior Behavioral Health setting within an acute care hospital is required.
Additional Details:
- Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM.
- Patient ratio: 1:8-10.
- No call or floating required.
- EMR: MedHost.
- Scrub color: Any solid color.
- 48-hour weekly guarantees are not approved; blocked scheduling may be requested.
