Join Our Team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)!

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, supporting their functional goals.
  • Assist with patient mobility, daily activities, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare standards.

Details:

  • Location: Farmville, VA (1575 Scott Drive)
  • Duration: 2 months, starting 04/06/2026
  • Hours: 8-hour shifts, including every other weekend
  • Pay Rate: $18/hour, with overtime at $46.50/hour
  • Weekly Stipend: $750 (local and travel options available)
  • Guarantee Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Setting: Long Term Care (LTC/SNF)
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, flexible based on facility needs

Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA certification
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a COTA
  • Ability to work locally in Farmville area
  • Comfortable with physical aspects of the role, including patient mobility assistance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work additional hours or overtime as needed

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in acute care or outpatient settings
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation
  • Bilingual abilities

Educational Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field
