Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Dietitian in the CCU/ICU setting. Position / Specialty: Dietitian (License can be pending!)
Shift: 5x8 Days (0730-1600) with a weekend rotation (no more than 1 every 4 weekends).
Average Daily Census: 165
Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year experience required. First-timers accepted.
Weekend Requirement: Yes, participation in a weekend rotation is required.
Certifications Required: RD/RDN and IL state license required.
On-call Requirement: No.
Floating Requirement: No, clinicians will not float within scope to meet facility needs.
Block Schedule: Open to accommodating block schedule; schedule is Monday to Friday.
Locals Accepted: Yes, no radius restrictions.
Pending License: Accepted, must be active at the time of start.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours. If the client cancels more hours than permitted, they will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof canceled in excess of this section. If candidates are placed on-call instead of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Special Requirements: Adult Outpatient/Clinic experience preferred. Experience with Enteral Nutrition (tube feedings) and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) required. Experience with Nutrition Assessments/Reassessments and Protein Calorie Malnutrition required.
