Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Kenner, LA, and be part of a dynamic Emergency Department team. As a travel RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in need.
Please ensure you are aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team," where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above.
Holiday Availability: Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Although Halloween is not a paid holiday, some units may require traveler coverage. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation.

- Patient Ratio: 1:4
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
Preferred Certifications: NRP & TNCC
Experience: Epic experience required; unit will accept 1st time travelers; 2 years of experience required.
