Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the ICU department! This full-time position offers the opportunity to work 36 hours per week on a day shift schedule, with every other weekend required. If you are an energetic and compassionate nurse with a passion for critical care, this is the role for you!
Position Information:
- Role: RN
- Specialty: ICU
- Shift: 07:00-19:30, 12 Hours
- Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend
- Call Requirements: None; may occasionally be offered call
- Years of Experience: 3-5 Preferred
- Float Requirements: Yes; to Med Surg/Telemetry
Education & Certifications Required:
- BLS & ACLS required
- CCRN preferred but not required
- PACU experience preferred but not required
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 4
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 in ICU, 5:1 in Med Surg
- Equipment: Hemodynamic Monitoring, Glucometer, Plum Pumps 360, PCA/Epidural Pumps, Telemetry
- EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: ICU/Critical care, assistance with intubation and vent management, care coordination, management of critically ill/unstable patients, occasional off-hours recovery (PACU care)
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: 3-5 years critical care experience
- Type of Patients on Unit: >18 years old
- Personality Fit: Energetic, compassionate, able to work independently and in a team setting, dependable, attention to detail (quality)
