Join a leading healthcare provider as a Hemodialysis RN specializing in Hematology in Eastland, TX. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing care to patients undergoing End Stage Renal Dialysis (ESRD).
Unit Overview: You will be part of a 12-chair ESRD facility with a typical staffing ratio of 1 Tech for every 4 patients and 1 RN per shift, managing a total of 8-12 patients. The facility operates on a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer hemodialysis treatments to patients with ESRD.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient care and treatment in the EMR system (Renvio).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hemodialysis and ESRD.
- Certifications: CCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Any scrub color is acceptable.
