Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse in Ontario, OH! We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a leading acute-care hospital with a focus on high-quality patient outcomes.
As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients. You must have a willingness to float to other campuses' ICU Units if census drops to maintain hours. Travel experience is required; first-time travelers are not eligible. Additionally, you will be expected to work every other weekend (EOW) and submit all time off requests, with a limit of 7 days. If you miss a shift, you must make it up, and if it is your weekend to work during RTO, you must find coverage. If placed on-call, you must return to the facility within 1 hour.
To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of 2 years of recent and consecutive experience in an ICU within a hospital or acute care setting. Knowledge of medication scanning is required, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications. Typical staffing ratios in the ICU are 3:1.
