ICU NIGHTS RN NEEDED! 10/27 STARTS! READ CAREFULLY!! We are seeking dedicated ICU Registered Nurses for night shifts. This position requires 3x12-hour shifts with every other weekend required. Floating to Telemetry and Med-Surg may be necessary, but please note that Sunday night is not considered a weekend.
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Skills Required:
- Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP)
- IV insulin protocols
- GI surgery care
- Chronic/Acute Renal failure management
- Accessing Ports
- Arterial line management
- Blood Product Administration
- Central line care/management
- PICC line management
- Starting IVs
- Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade
- Continuous IV sedation
- Emergency Medications administration
- Procedural Sedation Administration
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- CVA/Acute Stroke management
- External ventricular drain (EVD) management
- Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun
- ICP monitoring
- Lumbar drains management
- Post Craniotomy and Neurosurgery management
- Spinal cord injury care
- Traumatic Brain injury care
- Assisting with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
- Respiratory failure care
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Ventilator Management
- Infection Prevention
- Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE
- Phlebotomy
- Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac care
