Join our team as a Med Surg RN at a leading acute-care hospital in Herrin, IL. We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work night shifts while gaining valuable experience in the Med Surg specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Ability to work every other weekend and float to other Med Surg departments as needed.
