Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Olney, MD. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment. We are looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for maternal and newborn care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients and their families.
- Manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Take on postpartum patients as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Current certifications: C-EFM (through NCC), BLS, & NRP required with submittal.
- 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
- Availability for every other weekend and holiday shifts.
- On-call: 8 hours per 6-week scheduling period.
- Locals within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate.
