We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Los Angeles, CA. This is a contract position with a start date of 11/16/2026 and a duration of 20 weeks. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and manage high-risk patients.
- Utilize advanced fetal monitoring techniques and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
- Circulate for C-sections and provide care in the Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum units.
- Collaborate with a team of 24 OB hospitalists and OB anesthesia providers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2.5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery.
- EPIC experience is required.
- Knowledge of the CMQCC Category II algorithm and advanced fetal monitoring experience.
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced RTO.
- Must be willing to float if needed to Perinatal.
- Availability for 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday) and on-call duty twice a month.
- No time off (RTO) during the first two weeks of the assignment; must work most holidays.
- Maximum of 3 days RTO allowed.
