We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Edmonds, WA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn care.
- Perform special procedures including Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Delivery, and circulating in the OR.
- Administer medications and manage IVs, including Blood/Blood Products Administration, Epidural Pumps, and PCA Pumps.
- Utilize special equipment for High Risk Antepartum, High Risk L&D, and Low Risk Antepartum/LD.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through effective couplet care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including LDRP, L&D, Post Partum, and Newborn care.
- Active compact license recognized by all Swedish facilities.
- Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, ACLS (preferred).
- Ability to float as needed and work within a staffing ratio of 1:1-3.
