Join a leading acute-care hospital in Seattle, WA as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN). This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support women of childbearing age in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Shift: Nights 3x12

Ratios: 1:1

Years of Experience Required: Minimum 3 years labor and delivery trained. First-timers accepted if they have 3+ years of L&D experience.

Weekend Requirement: Yes - (Unless schedule posted says otherwise)

Certifications Required: BLS and NRP required, AWHONN Intermediate preferred.

Call Requirement: N/A

Floating within Hospital: Yes

Floating to Sister Hospitals: No

Open to Accommodating Block Schedule: No - unless posting states otherwise

Locals Accepted: Yes

Pending License Accepted: No

RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max, must work the holidays

Special Notes: This unit is responsible for adult women of childbearing age. It has 7 labor beds, 3 triage, 2 PACU, and 16 mother-baby. Please note if this traveler does not have Epic experience.

Guaranteed Hours: In the event of low census, healthcare providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) in 4-hour increments up to 1 shift's worth of hours in a 2-week cycle. For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods.
