Join Our LTC Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Day Shift, Flandreau, SD

Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and compassionate LPNs for a 12-week assignment at a long-term care facility located at 611 East 2nd Avenue, Flandreau, South Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced nurses and new grads looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting during day shift hours (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM).
  • Administer medications, monitor patient health status, and document care accurately.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and state regulations.
  • Participate in routine patient assessments and assist with daily living activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Dakota LPN license (or applicable state license valid in South Dakota).
  • Recent experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Must have a current COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours prior to the start date, with results issued within 48 hours of start.
  • Ability to complete credentialing requirements including license verification, background checks, and drug screening.
  • Must adhere to all safety and health protocols.
