Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Chesterfield, MO, specializing in Med Surg. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic rehabilitation environment, providing care to patients recovering from various conditions.

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Support patients in rehabilitation exercises and activities as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements:

  • CNA licensed in the State of MO.
  • BLS (CPR) Certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to float within units in the hospital (Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury).
  • Preferred: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN).

This facility features a comprehensive rehabilitation program with specialized units for various patient needs, including a dedicated stroke care unit and a brain injury unit. The environment is designed to promote recovery and enhance the quality of life for patients.

First Day Instructions:

  • Scrub Color: Black scrubs (must wear ID badge provided by agency).
  • Time to Report: 6:30 AM.
  • Who to ask for upon arrival: Charge Nurse.
  • Parking: Garage (upper level or back two rows of lower level).
