Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel LPN specializing in Rehabilitation in Madison, Wisconsin. This contract position offers the opportunity to work night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00 for a duration of 13 weeks. The facility is dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients recovering from various conditions, including strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic injuries.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- 1 year of travel experience
- EPIC experience
- 2 years of experience in Med Surg or Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing care for patients with conditions such as hypertension, brain injuries, and spinal injuries
- Administering medications and monitoring blood glucose levels
- Managing feeding tubes, foley catheters, and IVs
- Implementing isolation precautions and wound care
The facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program. The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients, with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:7.
