Join our team as a Medical Surgical - Neuro Registered Nurse in Charlottesville, VA! This position is within a 30-bed Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery acute care unit, providing essential care with a patient ratio of 1:4. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are ready to make a difference in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
- Adhere to the facility's float policy and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
- Work night shifts, specifically 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
- Participate in the care of patients during their recovery from neurosurgery and otolaryngology procedures.
Requirements:
- BLS and NIHSS certification required.
- Epic experience is a must.
- Must be willing to work every other weekend and 2 out of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas time off is not approved).
- Can submit with VA license pending.
Note: Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed. We can offer 36 or 48 hours per week, with the possibility of approving 40 hours for time off.
