Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) in Taos, NM. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a critical access facility with a focus on patient-centered care. As a Medical Surgical RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in good standing.
- PALS certification (can be obtained on-site within the first week).
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- 1:6 patient ratios.
- 75+ radius rule applies; pending licenses are not accepted.
- Charting will be done using Evident.
- Scrub color: Any color.
