We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Columbus, IN. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting. As a Night Shift RN, you will work 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care during the night hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in the Med Surg float pool.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
Requirements:
- Active RN License in the state of Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher.
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience preferred.
- Driver's license must be included with submission.
- First-timers accepted based on experience.
- Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius at a local rate (reduced by $5).
- Pending state licenses are not accepted.
