Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Postpartum Registered Nurse specializing in Mother-Baby and Couplet Care in Columbus, OH. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support new mothers and their infants in a nurturing environment.

Schedule: May float to unit as similar acuity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience
  • BLS/IV certification
  • IV start skills and labor & delivery (L&D) experience
  • EPIC experience

Preferred:

  • Previous travel nursing experience

Parking: The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. The WMC permit is available monthly.

  • WMC: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage - $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days.
  • WB: 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service - $196.20/year.
  • CXS: 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 - $393.96/year.
**Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3-5 weeks. Most affordable option. Parking is in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, about 1.7 miles from OSUWMC. The Pink shuttle runs every 3-5 minutes during peak start/end times and goes directly to the medical center in about 8-9 minutes. Also includes access to 9th Ave Garages (East and West) on weekends and holidays. Weekend access is from Friday at 2 PM through Monday at 8 AM; outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.
  • WMC: closest and guaranteed, highest cost
  • CXS: lower cost, limited shuttle, multiple stops
  • WB: lowest cost, frequent shuttle, best value
