Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH! This position is perfect for first-time travelers and experienced RNs looking to enhance their skills in palliative care while floating through high-acuity med-surg units. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential symptom management for patients undergoing treatment, addressing issues such as uncontrolled pain, severe nausea, and fatigue to improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting.
  • Manage symptoms for patients in palliative care.
  • Float to other units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Previous travel experience preferred.
  • EPIC experience required.

*Please note that if you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on departmental needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.

The WB Annual Permit costs $196.20/year and allows access to the 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays.
