Join a leading healthcare facility as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Seneca, SC. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care. The shift for this role is Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), with weekend coverage required every other weekend, although this may vary based on the facility's needs. Floating to other facilities may also be necessary based on patient census.
As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will care for patients with various diagnoses, including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological issues. Experience with the Omnicell medication system and EPIC documentation is essential, and candidates must have at least 1 year of experience to apply.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes in condition
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Floating to other Med Surg/Telemetry floors as needed
Requirements for this position include:
- Current South Carolina RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing
- Ability to pass an EKG exam
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
