Join our team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH! This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are passionate about patient care and ready to make a difference.
As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including but not limited to:
- Breast Cancer
- Lung Cancer
- Prostate Cancer
- Pancreatic Cancer
- Colon Cancer
- Esophageal Cancer
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Implementing infection prevention protocols
- Providing compassionate care throughout the cancer journey, from diagnosis to end-of-life transition
- Floating to other Med Surg Oncology units as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- ONS Chemo certification preferred
- Previous travel experience preferred
Staffing ratios aim for 1:4 but can be 1:5, with variable weekend requirements based on unit needs. Please note that there is no set or blocked scheduling as this is not offered to our permanent staff.
