Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Maryville, TN. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs looking to work in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on patient care and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses including Stroke/TIA, Seizure, Syncope, PNA, Chest Pain, Dialysis, Acute Kidney failure, Post Heart Cath, Respiratory Failure, Encephalopathy, CHF, and Sepsis.
- Float to other units based on need and skill set, ensuring flexibility in patient care.
- Utilize the Omnicell medication system for medication administration.
- Participate in special procedures such as peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- No first-time travelers; at least 1 year of nursing experience is mandatory.
This position offers a structured schedule of Day 4x12-Hour shifts (06:45 - 19:15) with weekend coverage required every other week. The staffing ratio during nights is 1:6, ensuring a manageable workload for RNs.
