Join a leading acute-care hospital in Zanesville, OH, as an RN in the Observation Unit. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. As an RN, you will primarily work on the 1S Observation unit but may also float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the ED if appropriately skilled and knowledgeable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Observation Unit.
- Float to other Med-Surg units as needed.
- Monitor telemetry and assess patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current Epic EMR proficiency (refresher classes or 1:1 assistance is NOT an option).
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med Surg experience.
- Ability to read Telemetry/BCRA; competency will be assessed on day one.
- Must be available for every other weekend and occasional call (rare occurrence).
Note: Unless you are a returning traveler within 9 months, the only available start date is November 16th.
