Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Oncology Registered Nurse in St. Louis, MO. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a Magnet and Teaching Hospital, recognized for its commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Oncology unit, including those with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
- Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care related to medical oncology and bone marrow transplantation (BMT).
- Perform IV starts, trach care, and access ports and central lines.
- Monitor and interpret EKGs, with a requirement to pass the Relias EKG exam.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Oncology setting is required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required; BSN is preferred.
- Ability to float within the service line as needed.
- No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius.
- Must be able to accommodate up to 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract.
