Join a leading acute-care hospital in Columbus, GA, as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on surgical service lines including GYN, General, Ortho, Ortho Spine, Neuro Spine, Urology, and Plastics.
Unit Details: The facility offers a variety of surgical services and requires RNs to be adaptable, with floating within the facility and to Piedmont Columbus Midtown if needed. Weekend shifts are every other unless specified, and call is dependent on skill set.
Minimum Experience: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience. The unit accepts first-time travelers, making it an ideal position for those looking to expand their horizons.
Clinical Screening: Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit. If the clinical screening is passed and aligns with facility guidelines, the candidate will be forwarded to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screens are conducted on a case-by-case basis.
Time Off (RTO): A maximum of 7 days is allowed. Please note that if one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, both are required, and for three major holidays, two must be worked. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met, there will be a pushback of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals are accepted at the same rate.
Orientation Hours: The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
