Join a leading acute-care hospital as an OR Tech in Columbus, OH, and be part of a dedicated team in Surgical Services. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential support in the Operating Room (OR).
This is a variable shift position, where the traveler will work days/evenings, 8s, 10s, or 12s. Call is required Monday to Friday from 21:00 to 06:30, and Saturday and Sunday from 06:30 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 06:30, with holiday/weekend coverage as needed based on unit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures and ensure the operating room is prepared and sterile.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain equipment and inventory in the surgical area.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as an OR Tech.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Availability for weekends and holidays as needed.
- Call required: M-F 21:00-06:30, Saturday and Sunday 06:30-19:00 or 18:30-07:00.
- BLS certification required.
- Level 1 Trauma experience required.
- Experience with the following is required: Eyes, DaVinci Xi Robot, Liver Transplant.
Parking Options:

- WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage - $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days.
- WB Annual Permit: $196.20/year, with shuttle service available.
- CXS Annual Permit: $393.96/year, with multiple parking locations.
