We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LPN for a contract position in a Vascular Surgery Office located in Roanoke, VA. This opportunity is ideal for those with outpatient clinic experience who are looking to make a difference in patient care.

Scheduling Details and Charting

  • Shift hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Charting: EPIC experience required
  • Weekend Requirement: No
  • Requests for time off (RTO): All requests must be included with the submission. Requests will only be accommodated if approved by the facility at the time of booking.
  • Call-off Policy: The facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
  • Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes
  • Locals Accepted: No
  • Pending License Accepted: Yes, only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license.

Required Certifications

  • BLS Certification REQUIRED

Clinical Skills

  • Experience Required: Outpatient Clinic experience
  • Experience Preferred: Phlebotomy, simple dressing changes, wound care/wound vac, wound drains/JP/Hemovac, vascular surgery experience

Unit Details and Floating

  • Serves adults and geriatrics
  • LPN will work with patients who are post-op, needing wound care, vein treatments, and addressing vascular issues.
  • Floating: May be required to float within scope
