Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PACU Registered Nurse in Wichita Falls, TX. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN with strong PACU experience, critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage a variety of cases in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This contract position offers a structured 4x10-hour shift schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions post-surgery.
- Administer medications and manage pain effectively.
- Communicate with surgical teams regarding patient status and needs.
- Educate patients and families on recovery processes.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas.
- Strong experience in PACU.
- Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Ability to work a 4x10 schedule with rotating days off.
- No call required.
