Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Greensboro, NC, where you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This contract position offers the opportunity to work night shifts, 3x12 hours per week, from 19:00 to 07:30. We are looking for dedicated nurses with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.
As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Managing and interpreting dysrhythmias.
- Administering peripheral line care and management, including PICC line management.
- Titrating drips as per protocol.
Key requirements for this role include:
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome!
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
- Experience in cardiac telemetry is required.
- Ability to float between all campuses as needed.
- Patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:5.
